What to expect?

1
Virtual appointments
All appointments are now virtual. Many patients find this more convenient, it offers comfort of your own home and saves traveling time. After booking your appointment you will receive a link to your video session. Find a good spot in your home which will provide you some privacy and is free of distraction. Position your video camera on a stable surface in a way that your Homeopath can see you all the way from waist up. Make sure you have good lighting. Please be aware of the time of your appointment and don't be late.
2
Intake form
Once you’ve booked your initial appointment, you’ll receive an intake form to fill out. Please complete it at least 24 hours before your initial visit so we can make the most of your session.

What to expect during a homeopathic session?
A homeopathic session is a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share anything that’s on your mind. Remedies work best when they’re matched to your whole personality picture, so the more openly you share, the easier it is for your homeopath to understand your unique experiences. What makes you different from others? What makes you happy? What makes you sad? What are your strengths and challenges? Do you have any fears? What are you dreaming about at night?
All of these little pieces help create a fuller picture of who you are. Please also include as many details as you can about each of your physical complaints — even small things can be helpful. During treatment, you’ll be asked to observe any shifts or changes in your condition. We’ll review these together at your next follow-up, which is usually scheduled in about 3–4 weeks.

How many sessions do I need?
Every condition is unique, therefore it’s difficult to say in advance how many sessions you’ll need. As a general guideline, health issues that have been present for many years often take a bit longer to shift, while acute situations usually begin to improve within a day or two. Long-standing chronic conditions often require a layer-by-layer approach, and it may take a few months to see more significant changes, so it’s important to commit to at least a few follow-ups, usually spaced about a month apart. Most people, however, start noticing gentle improvements within the first couple of months.

Homeopathic remedies
After your virtual session, you’ll be prescribed a homeopathic remedy. The fee for a remedy is $10. If you’re in Ottawa, you’re welcome to purchase it directly from me (pickup in Barrhaven). If you’re outside the area, I’ll guide you on where to buy it locally or how to order it online.

Acute care
I also offer Acute Care to support you with sudden or urgent symptoms. Each acute session is 30 minutes and includes up to 5 days of daily check-ins to monitor your progress. For the best results, it’s helpful to have a homeopathic remedy kit at home so treatment can begin right away.

Is homeopathic treatment covered by OHIP?
Homeopathic treatment is not covered by OHIP, but many extended insurance plans cover the services of a registered Homeopath. Please check your policy to see if you have a coverage.
